Simon & Schuster: Libby of High Hopes

My third grade daughter is an avid reader. She reads at a high level and was thrilled to receive the middle-grade book, Libby of High Hopes.  We just started horseback riding lessons for her over the summer, and this book was such an unexpected treat!

Just a bit about the book:

Ten year old Libby Thump loves two things - her dog and horses.  She wants nothing more than to take riding lessons, but her mother decides to give the lessons to her older sister.  Disappointed Libby decides to talk her parents into lessons with her charismatic optimism and determination.  In the meantime, she visits the stables to see her favorite horse, Princess.

This all-new series is illustrated and written by Elise Primavera.  It's an addicting read for middle-grade readers that features darling illustrations and a sweet story about a girl who believes anything is possible.

This charming book would make a great stocking stuffer this year.  And don't be surprised if your child asks for riding lessons!

Complimentary product provided to me from Simon & Schuster.  All opinions are my own.
