Stonefire: Flatbreads - Tandoori Naan

Can I get a YUM?!  Stonefire sent over their three different varieties of naan for us to try out.  They were out of this world good!

Stonefire naan are baked at extremely high heat, in a tandoor oven, just as they were hundreds of years ago.  The extremely high heat produces the big bubbles, airy texture and delicious smoky flavor of an authentic Indian naan.  Hand stretched and made with all natural ingredients including traditional, fresh buttermilk and ghee (clarified butter), naan can be used to create any meal.

My entire family gobbled up their all natural OriginalGarlic and Whole Grain varieties in no time.

I tried their Breakfast Naan Pizza recipe with the Original variety. My husband truly enjoyed this on Sunday morning.  He kept raving about the texture of the naan.  I couldn't agree more.

We at the Garlic Naan with shrimp curry, and it was the perfect compliment to our spicy meal.  I cooked this in oven for a few minutes after brushing it with a light coat of olive oil as the package suggested.  It turned out amazing.  I wish I had some to eat right now!

My kids loved the Whole Grain Naan.  I made some easy chicken wraps for them with this variety, and they requested them for their school lunch.

I love that Stonefire naan contains no additives or preservatives.

Two large naan flatbreads come in a package, and this product can be frozen.

  1. I love that stuff, though I do have to say that nothing can really be a substitute for the real thing fresh from a tandoori oven, but how to get that? Next best thing, absolutely.
