Cheerios is speading the CHEER to military families everywhere!
Veteran's Day is the perfect time to show all of our military families just how much we appreciate their dedication to our country. My heart goes out to you all. THANK YOU!
My husband served in the Marine Corps for five years and my brother served six years in the Coast Guard. Lucky for me, my husband was never called to duty, but I can definitely sympathize with other military families who have loved ones serving overseas.
Here is some wonderful news that I can't wait to share with you all. Cheerios and the USO have launched "Cheer," a fabulous postcard campaign that spreads cheer directly to our honorable military families and supports USO programs.
Just look for the specially-marked Cheerios boxes that feature Cheer postcards on the front of the box. It's so simple. Just cut out the postcard and write your message of thanks. Get creative, and make a drawing if you wish! A your stamp to the pre-addressed card to the USO, and they will deliver your personalized card to military families across the country. Very cool, right?!?
That's not all...
Cheerios will donate $1 to the USO for every Cheer postcard from a specially-marked Cheerios box. All postcards must be received by November 30, 2011. So far, Cheerios has already donated $150,000 to the USO and will donate an additional $100,000 depending on how many postcards are received.
So what are you waiting for?!? Send some cheer today! Head to your local grocery store and start mailing those postcards! It's so easy, so helpful and so appreciated.
I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Cheerios and received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to post.
