Kids say the cutest things...

My daughter will be 7 in a couple of weeks.  She confidently knows what she wants to be when she grows up.  She recently wrote me a letter with a drawing of her on her horse, "Browney" - how cute...

This is what I read:

"Hi mom!  I love you!  So much you are sweet.  I love it when you smile!  I think I am going to live with everyone around the world.  I am going to save people when I grow up and buy a horse.  And I am going to get homeless people food.  I am not going to get a car.  I am going to get a horse.  And get my friend a horse.  But I am going to stay with Lola a lot!"

Lola means grandma.  She told me she's not going to live with me when she gets older.  She's going to go live with her Lola.

She is such a compassionate little girl.

Dream big, sweetheart!  You can do anything you set your mind to.

  4. That was so cute to read! My oldest son is seven and writes similar little notes to me from time to time that just mean so much!! Kids have so much love to share; it's nice to see them grow to where they are able to express it with written words!! Thanks for sharing!!

  5. Yes, my kids love to write up little notes all the time. I have so many of them saved. It will be wonderful reading them together as they get older. They are such treasures! Thanks so very much for your comment, Ken. I loved it!
