How is it that my daughter is going to be turning 6 in less than one month? She was just a baby in my arms yesterday. Since when did my son start looking more and more like a "big boy" to me? I can remember his first day of preschool vividly.

My children are growing everyday right before my eyes! They'll be off to college in no time. Just thinking about it makes my heart sink and eyes water. The only thing I can do is enjoy every single second of their childhood. My goal is to make every moment count!

This movie celebrates motherhood and all of the ups and downs it brings. No one ever said raising children would be easy. It's a full-time job raising my two kiddos.

Eliza Welch (Thurman) is a former fiction writer-turned-mom-blogger with her own site, “The Bjorn Identity.” Putting her deeper creative ambitions on hold to raise her two children, Eliza lives and works in two rent-stabilized apartments in a walk-up tenement building smack in the middle of an otherwise upscale Greenwich Village. Eliza’s good-natured but absent-minded husband (Edwards) seems tuned out to his wife’s conflicts, not to mention basic domestic reality, while her best friend Sheila (Minnie Driver) understands this – and Eliza -- all too well.

MOTHERHOOD takes place in a single day that pushes to the tipping point Eliza’s fundamental fear she’s lost herself. Starting at dawn, her to-do list is daunting: prepare for and throw her daughter’s 6th birthday party, mind her toddler son, battle for a parking space during an epic alternate side parking showdown, navigate playground politics with overbearing moms, and mend a rift with after posting her best friend’s confession on her blog. On top of it all, Eliza decides to enter a contest run by an upscale parenting magazine. All she has to do is write 500 words answering the deceptively simple question, “What Does Motherhood Mean to Me?”

Thurman’s Eliza is a unique creation, by turns endearing and hysterical, tender and aggrieved. She is ably abetted by Edwards’ subtly layered performance as her distracted spouse, and Driver’s earthy, bemused turn as her closest ally. With remarkably naturalistic performances from its child actors and a roster of colorfully only-in-New-York supporting players, MOTHERHOOD is at once powerfully heartfelt and scrupulously real.

Uma Thurman captured the role of a busy mother brilliantly. I loved the storyline, the supporting actors and the entire message. This movie is honest, poignant and shows us what love is all about.

Designer Catbox: Hide that litter box with style!

I am proud to say that one of my favorite products of 2010 so far is the Designer Catbox. This invention is genius. No doubt this product will make my Top 10 list this year!

As cat owners, we love our cats, but were frustrated with the problems that many other cat owners face: an unsightly litter box, odor, and litter being tracked through the house. As many do, we tried many different products to try to hide our litter box and keep our cats from tracking litter throughout the house. I have the white Designer Catbox and what a beautiful piece! It's made extremely well - sturdy, durable and my husband said the instructions were easy to follow. What quality!

I'm also very pleased with the fact that it is made with glossy, non-toxic, lead-free paint. This did not have the nasty harsh smell of chemicals. A huge PLUS!

I just love the style. Everything about it is fantastic. I wouldn't change a thing about it. Our guests never guess there is a litter box inside. They always think it's an adorable cat house.

Our cats love the privacy and we love that our home stays clean, odor free and there is less litter scattered on the floor. The lid lifts nicely, stays open on its own and it even comes with a handy hook to hide your litter scoop.

The top serves as a nice bench for the cats to sit on. I am still amazed at how attractive it is with it's lovely wainscoting. It's a great addition to our home.

Miss Trimble's Trapdoor: Two Autographed Books & Bookmark Giveaway

I want to tell you about a superior line of beauty products. Clarins has really opened up my eyes to a whole new world in face care. I honestly saw and felt a difference from the first day I used their products.

I have super sensitive skin. I hate it. It's like a curse. I really have to find the right products that will work well for my delicate skin. This company offers everything that I've been looking for.
