Simon & Schuster: Little Green Books - Helping Your Children Become Eco-Friendly

Ahhh, the environment. Shouldn't we all care enough to make the world a better place for our own children and their children?!? What we do now will affect how they live later.

I was so happy to receive environmentally conscious books for kids from Simon & Schuster. These books are printed on 100% recycled paper and really help teach kids about how they can help. It's a great way to get them excited about the simple steps they can take to really clean up the Earth.

Below are a few of our favorite books from Little Green Books:

We recycle all of our plastic bottles. The Adventures of a Plastic Bottle was a terrific book for my kids. The personal journey of the bottle is highlighted throughout the story. Both of my kids now understand more about what happens to the bottles we recycle. It's a great little educational book.

We recently took a trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. My daughter remembered her I Can Save the Ocean book and how important it is to be environmentally conscious when it comes to protecting our beaches and oceans.

My daughter loves the outdoors, especially the beach. This book really helped inspire her to pay more attention to the ocean and its sheer wonder. She's only six, but already aware of the environment and what we can do to help keep it clean and safe.

Don't Throw That Away is an excellent book to help educate your child about the importance of recycling. Common household items can be reused in a variety of different ways! It's time to get creative with our kids and show them that what they think is trash can become something really useful.

Be sure to visit Little Green Books where you can find more books and play fun games!
