I really enjoy having candles burning in our home, but I've been a bit hesitant to use them lately due to the kids and pets in the house.

Now I don't have to worry about candles getting knocked down on the tables thanks to this lovely product from PartyLite. The Sonoma Valley Glass Hurricane with Stand is a great piece. This stands right in our living room away from the traffic areas. It's very simple, beautiful and would match a variety of decor styles.

I chose to use this as the candle holder, but you can use the included lid to turn it into an accent table. The bubbled glass really stands out when the candle is lit and fits nicely in the stand.

Speaking of candles, I had a really nice 3-wick candle sent to me as well. I chose the vanilla scent and it fills our room with a calming familiar fragrance that everyone can enjoy.
