Kathy Morton-Stanion: Gorgeous Nautilus Shell Painting Giveaway

You honestly have no idea how beautiful the work of Kathy Morton-Stanion is until you see it right in front of your eyes. I truly cannot express to you how much I am in love with these breathtaking pieces of art she so kindly sent for this review. I find myself staring at them constantly.

This wonderful artist has her own Etsy shop filled with beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces. I am particularly drawn to her nautilus shell paintings. Aren't they lovely? Just look at the gorgeous cool, calm colors and fluidity of the watercolor.

Each painting is done with the finest grade paints. The hints of shimmering metallic powders really are the icing on the cake. Kathy's pieces inspired by nature are a sheer joy to look at.

Kathy Morton-Stanion has an extensive background in graphic and fine art. When earning her degree in visual communication from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, she was only one of two students to receive a perfect score on her portfolio. Specializing in illustration and graphic design, she has held several positions as an art director with a client list including Playboy, Michael Jackson, Islander Sportswear among others. Kathy has exhibited and received many awards including many "Best of Shows" in local, national and international competitions. Some of her other awards include "Artist of the Year" from the San Pedro Art Association, "Mayor's Choice Award", and a "First Place" award from Santa Barbara National Juried Arts Invitational Exhibition which was selected from over 1,500 entries. She has been published in several magazines and had a piece selected from over 40,000 entries for inclusion in Print magazine's 1989 Design Annual. She was then selected for inclusion in Print's hard bound book "The Best Of Silk screen". Kathy is a member of many national art groups and is a Signature member and 1997-98 President of the Nevada Watercolor Society. She is collected and included in corporate and private collections around the world too numerous to mention here.
