I am loving the charger and rechargeable batteries I received from Energizer for this review. It is super easy to use and very handy. This compact charger gets the job done. In as little as 2 hours, my batteries are as good as new and ready for action. Charge 2 or 4 AA or AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries. The charger features very easy-to-read charge status indicators and is ENERGY STAR certified!

Fabulous!! I need this, because my wireless mouse and keyboard just EAT AAA batteries. :)

The Family Charger charges multiple battery sizes and the 15 Minute Charger comes with a car adapter.

Yes, NiMH batteries are shipped in a discharged state and need to be charged before use

I've always wanted a rechargeable battery system because I'm tired of wasting money on the so many batteries I use for digital cameras, etc.

I learned what a trickle charge was! interesting faq's on their site!

What is a trickle charge?
This is a low rate charge used to replenish capacity lost due to self-discharge.

I learned that Energizer has a charger that charges 4 "AA" or "AAA"

NiMH batteries are sensitive to continuous over charge. A smart charger monitors the cell condition during charge and prevents overcharging
