Brooks: Athletic Shoes for the Entire Family

Now that my family has had the opportunity to try Brooks, how can we ever go back to our old athletic shoes?! We have become instant fans of this shoe company.

The fit is perfect. All four pairs that we received fit like a glove and feel like we've owned them for years. From the very first time we tried them on, we were sold. These athletic shoes are high in quality, performance and feel.

My mother tried on my shoes and fell in love with them immediately. She is constantly on her feet all day and it's very hard for her to find shoes, yet athletic shoes that feel comfortable. She was very impressed with the way they felt from the start. Straight out of the box and they were comfortable! Now that's saying a lot being that it's almost impossible to find shoes that feel good on her.

All of the shoes we selected are from their Neutral categories. None of us have pronation. However if you do, Brooks has a special selection of shoes just for your type of feet. Check out their very handy Shoe Advisor. This will help you find the shoe that best fits you. I found this feature to be very helpful when selecting the shoes for my family.

Men's Defyance 2

The Defyance 2 is definitely a "no-brainer." About Kids' Shoe Sizes: Children's shoes are sized in two waves. The first wave starts at size 1 for prewalking tots and extends to size 13.5 (measuring 7 3/4 inches from heel to toe.) The second wave again starts at size 1 (at just under 8 inches from heel to toe), and extends through adult sizes.

Our Kids' Defyance, for sizes 10.5-13.5 , 1-7, starts in the first size wave and then continues into the second wave. The rough age range for this shoe begins around 3 years old.

PLEASE NOTE WHEN ORDERING: 10.5 is the smallest size in the Defyance.

Our Kids' Adrenaline™ GTS, offered in sizes 1-7, fits the second (larger) wave of children's shoe sizes. This range would normally accommodate children aged six years and older.

Both of my kids love their shoes. They really do support the feet of young ones. I feel confident that their feet are taken care of when they're out running and playing. My son truly enjoys running in his shoes and commented on how comfortable they were compared to the other shoes he owns.
