Thermos: Intak Hydration Bottle Giveaway

This giveaway is now closed with 462 comments. Thank you to all who entered. Congratulations to the lucky winner ~ Bill and Lorie Shewbridge!

To be green these days, I carry around a reusable bottle rather than the old disposable water bottles I used to use. I have tried numerous bottles from different companies in the past, but this bottle from Thermos is my absolute favorite!

I own bottles that have a screw top. I also have many bottles that require you to pull the drinking spout up to open and down to close. There is nothing worse than using your teeth to open your bottle, or worse yet, using your dirty hands! The Intak Hydration Bottle requires none of that!

This Intak Hydration Bottle is so easy to use. The one hand push button is fantastic. One simple push and the lid opens with ease. The design is great, the drinking spout is a nice larger size and it holds 24 oz. of water.
  • Made from BPA free, impact-resistant and dishwasher durable Eastman Tritan™ copolyester
  • Leak-proof lid with one hand push button operation
  • Rotating meter lets you monitor your daily water consumption
  • Flip-up carrying loop
  • Ergonomic design
  • Dimensions: 2.9" W x 3" D x 9.9" H
This bottle will go with you everywhere. It also comes in blue, green and purple.

I found it interesting to learn:

Invented in 1892 by Sir James Dewar, a scientist at Oxford University, the "vacuum flask" was first manufactured for commercial use in 1904, when two German glass blowers formed Thermos GmbH. They held a contest to name the "vacuum flask" and a resident of Munich submitted "Thermos", which came from the Greek word "Therme" meaning "heat".
