Jacquard: Groovy Tie Dye Kit Giveaway

This giveawy is now closed with 235 comments. Thank you to all who entered. Congratulations to the lucky winner ~ kathy pease!

WHAT FUN! My children and I had a funky, and seriously far out time with this groovy Tie Dye Kit from Jacquard. My kids had not tie dyed before so this was a really thrilling experience for them. We provided our own white tees and the fun began!

The instructions were easy to understand. The kit came with everything included and plenty of dye left over. It really was a simple procedure that ended with amazing results. My kids were so very proud of their creations and love to show them off to friends and family.

Here is more about the kit from their website:

Dyes up to 5 t-shirts and includes everything needed except the shirts:
  • Pre-measured dye (red, blue, yellow)
  • 1/3 lb Dye Fixer
  • 3 Squirt (mixing) bottles
  • 1 Pair rubber gloves
  • Bunch of rubber bands
  • Full instructions with tying patterns

Put some ZIP in your day with this easy to use tie dye kit. Fun for all ages, this kit is a fantastic introduction to tie dye! You supply the shirts and everything else you need is here, including three pre-mixed colors of Procion MX dye—the undisputed king of tie dye. For use on cotton and other natural fabrics or clothing.

Tie Dye Couldn't be easier:

  • Wet garment and tie with rubber bands.
  • Soak in Soda Ash and mix the dyes with tap water.
  • Apply dye, wait 24 hours, rinse, wash, dry & enjoy.
The kit only came with one pair of gloves and I had to come up with a quick solution. My kids had to take turns with the gloves. Since a parent really needs to help with this project, I had to protect my hands as well. The only thing I had available was plastic sandwich bags. That worked, but if you're going to purchase this kit, make sure you have extra gloves on hand so everyone can get involved.

It truly is a great kit and the colors came out so vibrant. I've washed the shirts plenty of times and they still look terrific.

Jacquard would like to offer one lucky reader a Tie Dye Kit!
