Pork Chop Kids: Pork Chop Socks Giveaway

This giveaway is now over. Thank you to all who entered. Congratulations to the lucky winner ~ Lori!

Here is the story behind Pork Chop Kids:

"The idea for Pork Chop KidsTM was developed after having my first daughter, Tess. As she began to grow, I discovered many fabulous products and services were available to help make child rearing easier. However, a reoccurring issue presented itself which no company had addressed. After a year of discussions with parents, research on manufactures and the open market, it became clear there was an opportunity to fill a genuine need in the marketplace… A baby thigh-high.

The most common forms of apparel for the lower body include leggings, tights, leg warmers, and socks. Each product addresses a specific need, but fails to offer the convenience of the thigh-high. Leggings, common in every age group, are garments worn from the waist to the ankle. Because of this, the entire garment needs to be removed in order to change a diaper. Like leggings, tights extend from the waist and include the feet. Again, this is inconvenient during diaper changes. In addition, they are one of the most restrictive garments on the child. Leg warmers are separate garments extending the length of each leg, but do not cover the feet. Fortunately, this eases the strains on the diaper change, but requires socks to be worn on the feet. As any parent will attest, it is all but impossible to keep socks on a young child. Wonderful and fashionable products existed, but only solved single issues.

Thus, Pork Chops were born from the evolution of necessity…warmth, protection, easy diaper changes, no missing socks, non-skid and runway-ready fashion!"

I received their adorable Bright Stripe style for my daughter. As you can see they are really fun and funky. She loves the feel of these socks. My daughter is 5 years old and we chose their 4-6 year old size. They fit her perfectly and hug her thighs comfortably. It's over 100 degrees outside and she refuses to take them off. They're a winner here! I also really like their non-skid bottoms.

They come in the following sizes:

6-12 months
1-2 years
2-4 years
4-6 years
6-8 years

Pork Chop Kids would like to offer one lucky reader a pair of Pork Chops in your choice of style!

I love this company because they say that the kiddos can't take these socks off. I love that!

I would like to see more colors offered, like purple, yellow, green, etc. and more prints, like multicolored stripes, multicolored dots, squares, etc.

Renee said...

I love this product for younger kids because it keeps their legs warm but you don't have to battle clothing for a diaper change. That's important, especially if the diaper is a particularly messy one!

The bright stripe pair is definitely the most vibrant, so if they were going to continue with vibrant patterns, I'd love to see giraffe pairs in different color pairings (my daughter loves giraffes), if they go in the pastel argyle direction, then flowers or polka dots in pale colors would be great.

I like that Pork Chop Kids has two really great options, either classic with the pastel colors or the fun and colorful side. Also their socks seems really well made/kid proof!

This may be boring, but I'd like to see a style with just solid colors. The patterns are very cute, but I think a solid light or dark pink would match my daughters' clothes best.

Thanks!

I like this company because it saw a need and met it! I agree that leggings and leg warmers are nice, but this product combines the best of both worlds.
