Freestyle: Giveaway

This giveaway is now closed with 473 comments. Thank you to all who entered. Congratulations to the 3 lucky winners ~ gkstratos, mattschmunk and Ardy22!

The guys in my family love a good watch. Freestyle is a company that specializes in a wide variety of watches for men and women. I was very surprised with their unique designs and colors. This was the first time I had heard of this company and I was fortunate enough to be able to test out three of their Mens designs.

Here is a bit more about the company from their website:

"What began in the early 80s has stood the test of time, proving the world demands and respects a high-quality, water resistant, durable watch at a fair price. Over the years, time has taught us not to fret over the little things, rather just worry about the one thing that really matters. How durable and dependable can we make your watch? Thats why every watch we make is backed by our industry leading limited lifetime warranty and depth rated to 100 meters. Bottom line, we worry about the same things you worry about and just like you we are in it for life - surf, skate, snow, wake, ski, bike, action sports, extreme sports, call it what you will, we call it lifeFreestyle4life!"

The first is their all new Boiler. This watch is Freestyle's first ever solar powered watch that features a solar cell charged battery that is capable of 12 months of power on a single charge. I liked the overall concept of this watch. I love watches that are solar powered, but it is quite heavier and bulkier than the other 2 watches I had the opportunity to review. If weight doesn't bother you and you want a great solar watch, this is for you.

Here are its features:
  • 100 Meters H20
  • Solar Cell Charged Battery
  • 12 Months Of Power On Single Charge
  • Battery Power Indicator
  • Power Saving Function
  • Chrono/Alarm/Timer/Dual Time
  • Nightvision Backlight

Their Convert style is very unique. It comes in black and grey and features a wider rectangular face. It is not as heavy in weight compared to the Boiler. This watch looks sporty, but has a touch of elegance due to the metal accents.

Here are its features:
  • Time
  • Day, Date
  • Electroluminescent backlight
  • 100M WR
  • Chronograph
  • Pre-set Countdown Timer
  • Alarm
  • Dual Time
My absolute favorite was their Grominator. It comes in black, black/red and the blue shown. I chose to review the blue and this watch meet my expectations. It's light in weight, the design is simple, easy to use and there is not a lot of fuss to it. I love its simplicity, style and shape. My husband wears this watch frequently and comments on how comfortable it is for sporting activities and daily wear.

Here are its features:
  • Designed by Shane Dorian
  • Durable Polyurethane Strap
  • Channel Lock System
  • Time/Day/Date
  • 2 Alarms
  • Stopwatch with split screen function
  • Countdown Heat Timer
  • NightVision Backlight Display
  • 100 Meters H20

All three watches from Freestyle featured solid construction and each came individually packaged in great looking boxes. I had a wonderful time working with this company. They offer excellent customer service and take pride in their products. Take a look at their watches for women too. They have a nice selection for the ladies. Click here to view.

  9. My favorite is The Submersion Watch. Years ago, I let my son play with my husband's Diver Seiko watch at the mall. Well make a long story short I lost the watch. I've never heard the end of it, and its been approx 15 years ago. I'd like to win this watch so hopefully my husband will finally get over me losing his watch! Thanks. Charlotte

  25. -- THE CONVERT -- because that is what I will be when I put it on. I usually wear an analog watch with the same color scheme. I didn't choose the other watches because I would rather have a solar powered air conditioner more than a solar powered watch, and I'm not a grom anymore so, thats why I didn't pick the blue one.

  26. The Convert is my favorite of the three.
