Here is a stationery company that is absolutely fabulous. Their name is smock. Here is what makes smock stand out from the rest. They are proud to be the first print shop in the United States that offers printing on luxurious bamboo paper. This is an eco-friendly company that provides beautiful announcements, invitations and cards.
Here are some great facts about smock:- They only use vegetable-oil based and low-Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) inks.
- They use recycled packaging materials and reuse packing materials and corrugated that their vendors send them.
- They are entirely wind-powered through Native Energy.
- They donate surplus paper and envelopes once a year to local public schools.
- They reuse paper scraps for office notes.
- Their retail packaging is biodegradable, tree-free, and petroleum-free.
- They package their custom work in keepsake boxes made in Syracuse from 100% post-consumer recycled materials.
- They use pesticide-free bamboo to make their paper and envelopes because bamboo is truly sustainable.
- They donate 1% of their sales to environmental causes.
And that's just some of the things they do! Geez, who wouldn't love this company!
I received a sample invitation and a derby card. They were simply breathtaking. Bamboo really does make the prettiest paper. It's thick and very luxurious. Their work is letterpressed to perfection. I am thoroughly impressed with their products and what they do for our environment. It's so nice to find companies who care. Beautiful products from a beautiful company. How lovely...
