The North Face

When I think of The North Face, I automatically envision innovation, exploration and high-performance. Their quality and attention to detail is what makes them stand out from the rest. The North Face is the world’s leading supplier of authentic and technically advanced outdoor apparel, equipment and footwear.

I was able to review their Men's Nuptse Jacket. I can't express how amazing this jacket truly is. I have an outdoor adventurer in the family and he fell in love with it instantly. He appreciated the warmth, sheer comfort, style and quality this jacket provided. I tried it on myself and agree. This jacket would keep you warm in the coldest of weather. The goose down fill is wonderful and adds softness and mobility. This jacket is truly phenomenal and anyone would appreciate its quality, features and design.

Here are the details taken directly from their website:

"Tibetan for “west peak”, Nuptse is a mountain that lies just over a mile southwest of Mt. Everest and is considered to be the western peak of this climbing gold mine. A coveted jacket among outdoor enthusiasts, the Nuptse Jacket is a classic puffy jacket that thrives in cold-weather conditions, such as those found at a Tibetan base camp. Constructed with 700 goose down fill, this high-loft jacket delivers plush warmth in brutal conditions."

Features:
  • Taffeta emergency hood
  • Double layer taffeta on shoulders
  • Internal-zippered stow pocket
  • Two hand pockets
  • Velcro® adjustable cuffs
  • Hem cinch cord
  • Standard fit

I will purchase all of my outdoor clothing from this superior company. Their customer service is topnotch and I love their wide range of products, from equipment to outdoor items for children. It is a one stop shop for my entire family. All it takes is one great experience to know that The North Face is a company you can trust.

The North Face is currently having a Go to the Snow contest. The North Face and Travelocity are giving consumers a chance to win a four-night trip for two to Snowbird Ski Resort in Utah, as well as a package of men’s and women’s jackets and pants from The North Face Cryptic collection.

Ranked the #1 ski resort by SKIING Magazine, Snowbird gets an average of over 500 inches of "dry" Utah powder annually over its 2,500 acres of terrain. The prize package includes a four-night stay for two at The Cliff Lodge & Spa and a four-day Salt Lake City Super Pass for two good at Snowbird, Alta, Brighton, and Solitude ski resorts. The Cryptic Collection package includes a men’s Verdi down jacket, a men’s Monte cargo pant, a women’s Fembot jacket and a women’s Ridearchy pant.

Ski and Snowboard enthusiasts can enter to win The North Face Go to the Snow contest by visiting http://contests.thenorthface.com/gotothesnow. The contest ends January 31, 2009.

The North Face also has some great Spring apparel and gear coming out. One hot item already available online is the Men’s Reversible Mercurial Jacket. This jacket recently won Best of Adventure by National Geographic Adventure. The Reversible Mercurial Jacket features silver and black sides. You can wear the silver side out when it’s cool outside. When the weather really gets cold, wear the black side, which absorbs the sun’s heat. The silver fabric is coated with aluminum and reflects 39-47 percent more of the sun’s rays than the black side.

Other Spring 2009 items include their Denali jackets for both women, men and youth. They are 99% eco-friendly. The entire jacket is made out of recycled material with the exception of the zipper (which no coats, no matter the brand, are able to recycle the zipper so far). The North Face is highlighting this eco-friendly theme throughout a lot of their apparel for the upcoming Spring season, including sleeping bags and sneakers.

I encourage you to head on over to The North Face to see all of their outstanding outdoor products for you and your family.

North Face makes some excellent outdoor wear. Sadly, I no longer live where I need scary cold jackets. :(
