New West KnifeWorks

I had the pleasure to review the Super Bread Knife from New West KnifeWorks. It is a beauty! Not only does it work flawlessly, it looks absolutely gorgeous in the kitchen! Take a look at it. It's the greatest knife my family has owned.

Here is the description of the knife taken directly off their website:

"The shape of the Super Bread Knife allows room for your knuckles on the cutting board, is more versatile, and allows better control than offset bread knives. Our unique 'wave' serration gives you an incredibly sharp edge and has the unique capacity to be honed and fully resharpened using a diamond or ceramic steel. Kullens or dimple grinds on the side of the blade allow the blade to pass through food cleanly and helps prevent food from sticking to it. Each knife comes in an embossed leather sheath."

It is made from Premium Swedish High-Carbon Steel and take a look at that handle. You choose your wood colors.

"Fusionwood is created from select hardwood veneers that are vacuum impregnated with advanced, penetrating dies and engineering-grade phenolic resins. The result is a beautiful, highly engineered material that can be precisely crafted into a super durable handle that will be beautiful for a lifetime.

The handles and knife blocks are fabricated, assembled, hand-shaped and finished by Corey Milligan and his assistants in Jackson Hole, WY. These products are "limited production" and are only available directly from New West KnifeWorks at fine art and craft shows or on our web site."

I don't have just a knife here. I have a work of art. It is just as functional as it is beautiful. My husband and dad had to fight over who would become the proud owner of this knife. It cuts through bread and meat like no other knife we have tried. I highly recommend New West KnifeWorks for their high quality cutlery and craftsmanship.

I also love the beautiful protective leather sheath that was included. The knife came packaged extremely well and delivery was fast. I know this knife will last us a lifetime. You can even send in your knife, plus $3, for a full polishing and sharpening. How great is that?

They offer a wonderful variety on their website. Click here to see their beautiful selection of Fusionwood and Phoenix Knives.

Don't forget - Father's Day is in June. I would bookmark this company or order early. Any dad would love a knife from New West KnifeWorks. My own dad has already requested some more.

  1. These knives look great! Ours are dull and ugly (they were also very cheap!). =)
