What exactly is a BuckleyBoo? BuckleyBoo is a wonderful collection of developemental plush toys that was created by a grandma and child psychologist. They encourage cognitive development through multi-stage learning for children 15 months to 4 years.

BuckleyBoo's have colorful ribbon straps with five different buckles across the front. This is a great way for them to learn. When they are babies they can master the task of matching the patterned ribbons with each other. At the next stage in development, they are ready to learn how to actually unbuckle the buckles on their BuckleyBoo. This is a great time for parent and child to bond and learn together. Finally, when they are old enough, they are able to unbuckle on their own which provides hours of endless fun. There is also a delightful chime inside the bear that jingles when you move your BuckleyBoo.

I received their yellow BuckleyBear and it really is a fantastic product for young children. It's very soft and cuddly. It's a great way for kids to improve their fine motor and problem-solving skills. Once your child has clicked those buckles, they will gain a sense of accomplishment. This would make a great gift for learning.

BuckleyBoo is having their own giveaway on their website. This wonderful company recently attended the 2009 Babes in Wonderland Pre-Golden Globes gift suite. If you can identify as many of the 21 celebs you see in their photos, you may be the lucky winner! You have the chance of winning a 17" BuckleyBoo of your choice.
